Interior Trend – Quilting
Quilting is a trend that has been gaining popularity for a while now. First seen on the fashion catwalks like so many other trends it has transitioned into interiors. By including quilting in your interiors you can make a room feel more cosy and comfortable or simply add a much needed layer of texture. This trend is easy on the eye and soft to the touch and we love it. We’ve pulled together some of our favourite quilting inspired looks to help you bring this trend into your home.
Feel comfortable and cocooned with this refreshing yet vibrant Velvet Linen Throw. We love the way they’ve combined this bold colour with the quilted effect.
If you want to experiment with quilting but are not quite ready to commit to a statement piece try testing the waters with these quilted G Plan scatter cushions. Their neutral tones and soft touch mean they are the perfect addition to any sofa. The two colours here are Quilt Mink and Mole and they look stylish in for example a G Plan grey corner sofa.
If you’re feeling bold and want to make a real statement in a room, replace your wallpaper with a quilted feature wall.
Or for a more understated look display a quilted wall hanging to give any room a more bohemian theme. You can find some really unique pieces on Etsy.
A quilted headboard or bedding can make a bedroom look really luxurious, but also cosy. We love this beep buttoned headboard with the quilted throw from The White Company. It gives the room a truly decadent feel.
