Scandi Style and Top Textures

We love looking at incredible Scandinavian design. Not only is it stylish, but it’s also brilliantly versatile when it comes to mixing textures.

Scandinavian Beach Image

Characterised by its neutral colour palette, washed out woods and an abundance of natural light, Scandi style uses texture to give depth and interest to a room. Beige, chunky knit throws can perfectly complement leather sofas like our Fifty Three in Capri Mushroom. And when chosen with our light Ash wood finish, it becomes a beautiful centrepiece for your living space.

Colour way

The look is heavily influenced by the beautiful Scandinavian scenery and landscape. The colour palette is particularly biased towards icy blues and polar greys, as seen in the rivers, but features moodier hues of the dark mountains and deep forests too.

For a simple way of mixing your textures, try introducing some rustic wicker baskets for storage, against the smooth backdrop of a white wall. Simple, but effective. For a more dramatic look, give your room a makeover with distressed wooden flooring. Add a shearling rug to break up the surface to create your desired look.
